This is the Toutake shrine in Kuwabara,Iwanuma city,Miyagi prefecture. It is along the old fourth national road. This Shinto shrine was built at latest in Kansei year (1789〜1801). The milestone was here before, and people who came and went in the Oushu highway were visiting the Shinto shrine.
This is the stone monument to which 1 killed in action of Russo-Japanese War and 12 killed in action of the Daitoa War(The World War ��) were enshrined. In that, the person who were killed in action in the fierce battle ground such as Shěnyáng, Midway, Bougainville, the Philippines, and Burma , and was the die of adisease detained by the Soviet Union were included.
