"The Donto festival" is the traditional event of Japan done on January 14 every year. The combustion fire is done in the Shinto shrine, people gather, and the ornament at the New Year etc. are burnt. Moreover, "The naked joining" that people who became naked visit the Shinto shrine is done.

This is an appearance of the Donto festival done in the Takekoma shrine in Iwanuma city(Miyagi prefecture,Japan).
To participate in naked joining of the Takekoma shrine these people are changing. They are wearing Hachimaki(the long cloth in which it rolls it in head),Sarashi(the long cloth in which it rolls it in body),Shimenawa(the straw rolled in waist) and Waraji(the shoes made from straw) to the body.
